It seems fitting that during this season of renewal and rebirth I would decide to take on a new project. As if moving our retail location was not enough! This year is different, however. I tasked myself with exploring the past and seeking to learn what could bloom from what already exists. Like many of us do when we need a break, I went home to be with family and reminisce. As I turned reluctant pages of plastic photo albums, I found inspiration smiling back at me from around my father's neck. I knew then that what I needed could not be found in a designer's wholesale collection. I would need to create it. This year, I am finding new life and new possibilities in old friends.
